English Language Content Producer and Media Specialist

for the City of David

The City of David is looking for a visual and written content creator and media specialist to tell the story of the site to the world through different media.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Assist in developing and implementing strategic vision for the City ofDavid's media presence across multiple platforms

·Strategically create and produce narrative content for digital audiences.

·Lead video production, and distribution, including rapid response videos requiring same day turnaround.

·Initiate articles and interviews in the International print and digital press that increase the positive coverage of the City of David.

·Dramatically increase the City of David’s online presence on Facebook, Instagram and other key platforms.

·Develop key relationships with contacts in the field that will lead to breaking news and cutting edge content.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent storytelling capabilities to bring ideas to life
• Preferably 2-3 years’ experience in a content production or media environment
• Very high level of written English, basic copywriting and editing skills and ability to draft press releases
• Active on Facebook Twitter, Instagram; and knowledgeable about latest trends in social media
• Basic video creation/editing experience
• Bachelors degree
• A love of Jerusalem
