Allot is looking for an experienced technical writer, based in Israel, to join the Allot Global Training & Documentation Team.

What you’ll do
The role of the technical writer will be to:
- Interface with subject matter experts across the company to gather information about new products and features
- Take full ownership of a suite of user guides with responsibility for writing, editing and implementing feedback
- Manage software release notes for different types of releases and products, gathering relevant technical information and ensuring it is presented clearly and delivered on time.
- Take full responsibility for ongoing maintenance and improvement of Allot’s wiki-based Knowledge Management Platform
What you should have
The candidate must meet the following criteria:
- At least 7 years’ technical writing experience
- An engineering background with theoretical and practical experience in IP networking and hands-on Linux proficiency
- Mother-Tongue English with proven writing skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work independently but with a "team first" attitude
Candidates with the following experience and skills will have an advantage:
- Experience working with knowledge management systems (e.g: Confluence)
- Experience with instructional design / training development
